The successful candidate will be a creative marketing professional with either a degree and marketing qualification or relevant marketing experience and a professional certificate such as CIM. Marketing background is open however a strong preference for B2B marketing experience is sought.

Head of Finance 60-70K, Hampton, Middlesex

A qualified (or qualified by experience) Head of Finance is sought to oversee a small accounts team for an established, dynamic and expanding manufacturing company. This is a newly created role that will report to the MD . The culture of the company is friendly, professional and collaborative. The successful candidate will undertake the following duties:

 You’ll play a crucial part in the development of Company strategy

You’ll provide financial analysis and guidance on all activities, plans, targets and business drivers

You’ll ensure that financial systems are robust, compliant and support current activities and future growth

You’ll drive and own annual budgeting processes and ensure it’s understood and adhered to across the business

You’ll review the monthly management accounts and present them, along with your analysis of progress against projected sales, purchasing and departmental budgets

You’ll provide ongoing analysis of company revenue by region, product type, route to market etc and the communication of the findings to the CEO and leadership team

You’ll take ultimate responsibility for the company cash management policies

You’ll ensure that the regulatory requirements of all statutory bodies are met

You’ll manage company policies regarding capital requirements, debt, taxation, equity, disposals and acquisitions, as appropriate

You will be the company point of contact for finance related queries, analysis and reporting

The ideal candidate will have a strong manufacturing background and accounting qualifications such as CIMA / ACCA / or equivalent, in-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices, solid knowledge and experience of financial analysis and forecasting, proven experience in a senior finance role, taking responsibility for the function and acting as an advisor to the business. Previous experience of Epicor ERP system would be an advantage.  

Sales Manager, West Molesey, Surrey – 35-45k

An experienced degree educated individual is sought by this established and expanding manufacturer of products supplied in the marine and defence sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for sales across the full range of products and services to existing and new customers globally, ensuring the sales process is efficiently executed to maximise customer satisfaction and firmly establish the company as the supplier and partner of choice.Core aspects of the role:

Identify and achieve sales of products to new and existing customers in the UK and internationally for the entire product range. To coordinate and manage an efficient sales process from the creation of thorough and effective sales proposals and quotations. Ensure proposals are tenaciously progressed, the team within sales are fully aware of requirements, technical queries are addressed with technical authorities across the Company and any project management requirements are fulfilled.Maintain the highest levels of customer satisfaction at all times. Represent and promote the company at domestic and international exhibitions, events and customer meetings. Present products and capabilities to customers and at conferences, carrying out product demonstrations and customer training sessions both at the company premises and at customer specified venues.Work with the existing agent and reseller network and strategically adding new reseller representatives to meet market growth aims. Maintain awareness, understanding and compliance with all commercial processes and procedures including authority levels and discount agreements. Identify and advise companies within the parent group of any potential sales, they could make and direct the request to the relevant sales office. Experience required:

Proven technical sales ability is essential. Demonstrable sales or business development experience in the marine science, industrial or environmental business area is desirable. Strong sales ability with a proven track record of achieving targets. Excellent IT skills including Microsoft Office
